As you might know, this week I’m participating in the Fall 2017 Home Tour along with 29 other bloggers.  My full home tour will be live on Friday, but today, I wanted to kick off my home tour with a look at my dining room in order to give you some ideas and inspiration for non-traditional Fall decorating!

This year for my Fall dining room tablescape, I had my heart set on copper Moscow Mule mugs.  I have no idea why but it just seemed like a beautiful element for a Fall tablescape and one I hadn’t used before!  From there, I decided I needed other shades of pink, contrasted with the silvery sage of seeded Eucalyptus leaves.  And so, my plan for the Fall dining room slowly came together.

For those of you that have been readers for a while, you might notice a few minor changes in this room.  At one time, I added crystals to my chandelier to give it more of a French look.  Not long ago, I decided to swap out the crystals for beads in order to give it more of a Farmhouse look {in keeping with the current trend.  More on trends HERE.}  I also swapped out my Target rug for this one from HomeGoods, which is almost the same except that it has more of a gray-blue instead of a green-blue.

Lastly, I changed out the design on the backs of my chairs to this design with the letter “M’ for our last name.  These decals were purchased from Stone Creek Wall Decals and were an inexpensive and easy way to change the look of the chairs!

Now, back to the tablescape. I started with the most wonderful white, ruffled linen tablecloth from Miss Hettie.  From there, I used a simple wooden box to hold a vase full of roses, hydrangea, lilies, and eucalyptus, along with some faux white pumpkins and extra beads leftover from the chandelier project.  I used several branches of eucalyptus along the table to act as a table runner, mixed in with more pumpkins and some copper-colored votive holders.

I purchased a set of four Limoges plates from Rosebuds Originals on Etsy and then decided that they’d look beautiful with some pink Arcoroc accessories.   I purchased the Pink Swirl plates from Behind the Moon Antiques and layered everything on top of white and gold dinner plates that I already owned, along with my Maxfield flatware.

Some Pink Swirl Arcoroc wine glasses from Diane’s Stuff for You were the perfect finishing touch!

I didn’t do much inside the hutch, but I did add a few pumpkins and some eucalyptus.

Now, I obviously don’t keep the table set like this for everyday use, so Friday, I’ll also be sharing a look at what I did with the table once the place settings were removed and the flowers had died.
