My family room TV wall has undergone a few different makeovers, but this most recent one wasn’t really my doing.  I’m blaming Hubby.  Let’s say it was all his fault, shall we?!  Well, not really, but he’s the one that wanted a bigger TV and once the new TV was mounted, it dwarfed my media console and wall art.  What was a girl to do other than makeover the entire wall?!

Our family room is our main TV room and the area started out looking sad and lonely…

I then “disguised” the TV by adding a collection of art and objects to create a gallery wall.  I loved my collected gallery wall with a mix of my favorite things and was a bit sad to see it go.  {You can get tips for creating a collected gallery wall HERE.}  For those of you that are new to my site, it used to look like this up until a few months ago:

But today, it looks like this!

With the TV taking up so much room on the wall, I decided to simplify the overall look and went with a symmetrical layout.  I *love* this oversized Apothecary sign that I purchased and customized off of Etsy from Sign Treasure.  This sign was actually the first thing I purchased for the wall, followed by my Makena TV stand….which has proven to be fantastic!

Matching tobacco baskets flank it on either side, each with a 6″ boxwood wreath to give it a pop or color for a Spring look.  Below the tobacco baskets, I framed two printables that I made that describe my family perfectly!  I mean, who wouldn’t want to wear PJs all day if given the opportunity?!

These printables have a farmhouse look with definitions of “Family” and “Home” that include a bit of humor.  You can download the full 8″x10″, watermark-free versions of both images from my Exclusive Content section for FREE by clicking HERE!

The addition of the lighter furniture piece and wall art definitely lends itself to a more farmhouse feel versus what I had before and I’m really happy with how it turned out.
