I was recently invited to a holiday event at Balsam Hill‘s Burlingame showroom. What a way to kick off the holiday season! I finally got to see Balsam Hill’s beautiful Christmas trees in person. And yes, even though I knew they were artificial, I still had to touch them just to make sure. They look that real!
During the event, we had a chance to decorate a wreath using a variety of Balsam Hill’s accessories, including ribbons, ornaments, and tree picks. As you might know, I love decorating wreaths so this was particularly fun for me! Now here’s the part where I should show you the wreath I made….but as you probably know, I can never leave well enough alone and before it ever hung in my home, I ended up dismantling it and using the accessories for other purposes in my holiday decorating. :)
Any guesses as to what my favorite accessory was? The ornaments!
I can definitely attest to the fact that Balsam Hill’s ornaments look gorgeous on the Christmas tree; however, there are lots of other ways to use ornaments when decorating! They also look beautiful displayed across the top of a mantel mixed with holiday greens, collected in a bowl on a coffee table, or mixed in with a wreath to add a bit of sparkle. I actually used one of Balsam Hill’s red mercury glass ornaments as part of my holiday gallery wall…
and another to adorn the wreath in my dining room.
So now it’s your turn! My blog is my business and I am so thankful to have this outlet to share my passion for decorating and grateful for all of the wonderful people I have met by doing so. As my way of expressing my appreciation, one lucky winner will receive an entire 24 piece set of Balsam Hill’s Gold & Bronze Mercury Glass ornaments. Yes, the entire set! Each ornament measures 4″ tall and is made of glass. They reflect the light beautifully and I’m sure you will love decorating with them just as much as I have.
All you have to win this beautiful ornament set is leave me a comment on this post telling me about your most special ornament. Maybe it’s one that has been passed down through the generations? Maybe something your child made at school? Whatever it is, I want to hear about it! Then use the Rafflecopter widget below to tell me that you commented and you will be automatically entered to win.
