I spend a lot of time at the computer each day…a lot….so I decided it was finally time to give myself an actual workspace {other than the kitchen table where I currently reside}.  I really only need a flat surface on which to type, so that means there’s lots of space leftover for me to decorate and beautify my workspace with a desk makeover!  After all, while a desk needs to be functional, who says it can’t be beautiful, too?!

I started with this rubbed black desk because the surface area is large and because the space underneath is open so that I can use it for additional storage {or display as the case may be!}.

I then layered in a lot of accessories, including my DIY subway art, a pretty brass bell, and even this ceramic mason jar vase.

And if you follow me on Pinterest, then you’ll know that I have a love of all things numbers, so I had to throw in some charming numbered items, too!
