I don’t really ever decorate my bedroom for Fall, but I just couldn’t resist adding some Baby Boo’s to the pink roses I picked up over the weekend, so now there’s a hint of Fall on the mantel.
Okay, so pink and white isn’t a typical color combination for Fall, but I just love that color combination so it works for me. I started by placing a vintage trophy cup full of pink roses in the center of the mantel.
I then added Baby Boo pumpkins all along the mantel, some sitting flat, some tipped, and some in ironstone bowls for added height.
I am a fan of seeded Eucalyptus, so I added several branches and accented them with pinecones and dried roses that I had saved from a previous project.
You might have also noticed that I moved my blue shutters {that used to be HERE, then HERE} to my bedroom. I don’t think I’ll keep them here permanently, but for now, I like how they’ve changed up the look of the space.
My dress form still flanks the fireplace, complete with my grandma’s pearls…
…but over the summer I picked up this gorgeous vintage hoop petticoat from Shabby Creek on Main. I love my industrial dress form, but I like how the skirt softens the look just a bit but still allows the cage to show through.
My chandelier reflects in the clock mirror that hangs above my mantel, which I love.
So that’s my pink and white fall mantel in my bedroom! A bit non-traditional, but I feel that decorating should be about what works for you, regardless of whether it’s trendy or typical. So yes, buy those Baby Boo pumpkins and pair them with the color of your choice!

Hi Janet – Thank you so much! :) Kim
Kim,
I love the pink and white with the pinecones and eucalyptus. It’s so pretty and yes, fall like.

Hi Karen! I’m so glad you like the mantel. Have a wonderful week! :) Kim
That is just so beautiful and romantic. How nice to have a fireplace in the bedroom.
Hi Kim – Thank you so much! And I’m not going to lie…I love having a fireplace in my bedroom! I just wish I could have roses year-round, though.
Luvly. I am not a traditional fall colour decorator :) … Presently I have added pinecones and dried hydrangeas. I prefer a nice neutral colour scheme with small pops of colours.
Luv your pink roses and baby boos. Our home should reflect us!
Hi Gee! Pinecones and dried hydrangeas are perfect for Fall, aren’t they??! I think this is the first year I haven’t tired of my Fall decor in the first week so I think it’s a good sign that neutral Fall decor is for me, too!
i LOVE THE PINK AND WHITE, THE BABY BOO’S ARE PERFECT ON YOUR MANTEL.AND YOUR LADY IS DRESSED BEAUTIFULLY.
