We’re kicking off a few projects around the house this week! I finally decided on a fireplace surround for the family room and put my order in. I forgot to ask how long it will take to make, but I did post some pictures of the demo on Instagram. And we’ve decided to install solar, which hubby is pretty excited about. It’s a practical home upgrade that we desperately need.
We were supposed to go see our son this weekend but the weather had other plans for us. Instead, I’ll have to wait until Thanksgiving break. This being a mom thing is hard!
So that was my week. Now let’s move on to what captured my attention this week!
Home Decor Finds
This week I rounded up some of the best-sellers on Walmart.com! The brick-and-mortar store and the online store are not the same! There are so many more options available online and it can be a great resource for home decor and furniture!
This console went viral! People use one if space is tight, or push two together to create a bigger piece. There’s also a larger console for under $250 which I love because the rattan mesh hides everything inside.
This mirror is a dupe for the Anthropologie one for just $55 and has 4.6/5.0 stars! Even the floor-length mirror is under $100. And a 16×20 framed piece of art for under $15? Seems too good to be true but the reviews say it’s as great as it seems!
For accessories, there are some cute candle holders for under $8. The amber color would be beautiful for Fall or a Thanksgiving table and the clear could be used year-round. There are some cute vases online too, like this wood one, this white one, and this black one!
I love a trinket dish and this one is classic and simple. And speaking of classic, this jute rug with scalloped edge gives the look of Serena & Lily but at a fraction of the price!
