Welcome to Home & Garden Tidbits. This is a collection of everything that caught my eye this past week from renovations to gardens, home decor finds, and more!
Let’s get inspired together!
It’s a good new/bad news day today. The good news is that it’s my 26th wedding anniversary and I love my hubby more than ever! He’s amazing.
The bad news is that my eldest went back to college today. A sad day for sure because I’ve loved having him home this summer.
So, I did a bit of retail therapy this week to make me feel better. Some cute new summer dresses, a new purse, and perhaps a few things from my list below…Lol!
So that was my week. Now let’s move on to what captured my attention this week!
Home Decor Finds
Calling all Target shoppers! There are some great new arrivals in Home Decor! Target Circle members get free shipping but if you aren’t a member, orders over $35 also qualify for free shipping.
I have ZERO need for more art, but this is calling my name. I love the feel I get from it. And if you want to pair it with some other pieces, this landscape art set is beautiful and under $20. I love the mix and match framing!
Fluting is still trending and the latest arrivals in lamps includes this decorative detail. This lamp has a great fluted base and this one has a cute fluted shade and is under $20!
And it’s time to think about Fall stems because if you wait too long, you’ll only find Christmas ones! These golden stems look beautiful and are a great alternative to the standard wheat stems you regularly see. (They’re currently in my cart waiting to checkout!) I own these stems and like them a lot.
You know I love a good throw blanket, especially in the Fall and Winter. This one caught my eye because I’ve been leaning into forest green lately.
And there are quite a few new kitchen finds that caught my eye. This little brush is similar to the one I own and love. And this retro kettle is too cute for words! I might add this to my Christmas list…If you’ve been looking for some decorative canisters that are pretty enough to leave on the counter, these should do the trick! And last but not least, this is also pretty enough to leave on the counter…also on my Christmas list.

Instagram Inspiration
I have a friend who loves decorating as much as I do. If we aren’t sending each other decorating ideas, we’re sending meme’s of moms being sad about their empty nest. Lol!
Anyway, this week she asked me to find some beautiful hallways and I’ve delivered!
1. @homesmithdesign -I’m obsessed with the trim and all of the gorgeous sconces! Swipe to see the before – it doesn’t even look like the same hallway!
2. @mrsashleyfrench – What a difference a little bit of trim makes in this hallway. Love its finished look!
3. @theverestplace – The end of the hallway gets its own moment with a splash of black paint, artwork, and a rustic bench.
4. @the_ct_colonial – How cozy is this upstairs hallway?! That wallpaper is gorgeous I love the gallery wall that flanks the window.
5. @victoryhomeslubbock– Who couldn’t use more storage? This traditional hallway has a great mix of closed and glass cabinetry to maximize storage space while ensure the hall doesn’t feel too confined. Beautiful!
Random Tidbits
I’m obsessed with Chappell Roan’s Pink Pony Club, introduced to me by my daughter. I’m probably way too old to sing along, but I love it!
I’m still working to get 10k steps a day but it’s a lot of work!
Until next time!
