This set of 2 LARGE 1940’s skeleton keys came from Normandy, France. These are REAL antique keys once used to open doors. They are super rusty, but that’s what gives them their charm! I believe they are made of iron given their weight, but can’t confirm for sure. The largest key measures 4.5″ and the smaller is 4″. Both keys have oval openings on the handles.
I have a few of these and use them on top of books for a little bit of interest, but they can also be used for jewelry making, steampunk art, display and repurposing.
