Welcome to Home & Garden Tidbits. This is a collection of everything that caught my eye this past week from renovations to gardens, home decor finds, and more!
Let’s get inspired together!
This week I kicked off my Fall hour tour! If you missed it, you can find it here.
Simultaneously, I also finished decorating my Christmas tree! Lol! I’m really excited to share that tour with you, but give me a couple of weeks…even I think September is too early!
So that was my week. Now let’s move on to what captured my attention this week!
Home Decor Finds
This week I wanted to share home decor finds with you from a place you might not immediately think of to shop at for decor…Michael’s! Yes, the craft store. ‘
Online, they have so much more available than what’s in store, including home decor! And there’s always a sale or a coupon available so that’s a plus.
First up, let’s talk accessories. How cute is this? I’d use it as a book topper. I’d probably do the same with these.
They also have some great decor objects. I think I’ve shared this one before but it’s one of my favorites. This wooden set of three finials would be pretty on a large mantel, but could also be used at the base of a fireplace or even on a large coffee table.
And lately, I’ve had an affinity for sacred hearts and I always love a cloche, so when you put the two together like this, it’s beautiful and intersesting!
And did you know you can purchase accent furniture there, too! I have a little martini table in my living room that I love and this one is super cute.
Did you know that I have an antique doorknocker? This one isn’t antique, but it looks like it could be and would add so much character to a front door!
I found several pieces of framed art that I really liked, including this muted neutral. I also came across this interesting set and this new arrival!
