This week seems like it just flew by in our house. We hosted friends for a mid-week BBQ so I spent a few days dusting and vacuuming the back porch in preparation. Plus I finally got the last of my pots and planters finished up so my yard is summer ready!
My daughter has taken up walking and since I haven’t really exercised since quarantine and am way out of shape, I thought I’d join her. As it turns out, starting out with 10,000 steps on day 1 was probably not my best idea! Needless to say, I spent the next few days icing my foot and doing a lot of stretching. I’m happy to report that my foot is feeling much better now.
So that was my week. Now let’s move on to what captured my attention this week!

6. @simplystorageuk – This is a great idea for unused space under the stairs. And I love how the end result looks like a wall of beautiful paneling when in fact it’s hidden storage!
Home Decor Finds
Bath and Body Works is having it’s semi-annual sale right now! Their 3-wick candles are more than 50% off! My daughter was at the mall and picked up this scented candle for me that I’m loving right now.
Also having their semi-annual sale is Victoria’s Secret! My current summer scent is available in a travel-size and it’s on sale right now. I think it’s the perfect light and clean scent for the warmer months.
You’ve heard of bringing the outdoors in, but this is bringing the indoors out! Can you believe these swivel chairs are OUTDOOR pieces of furniture? These are a great way to freshen up your patio.
New outdoor pillows are also a great way to zhuzh up your outdoor entertaining space! There was a time that outdoor pillows were stiff and plain, but not anymore! This Geo Flower pillow is great and this Vine Lattice pillow is a classic. Plus, the shape of this basket planter is so cute and just a fraction of the price of the McGee version.
If you’ve seen pictures of my remodeled kitchen, you might have seen my creepy portrait lurking on the counter. I have a thing for creepy portraits and this one caught my eye. I also love this French print available on Amazon!

I’m ready for a little rug presto-chango in my living room and order this washable rug from Amazon. It’s a beautiful rug and although I decided it wasn’t right for my living room, if you’re looking for a warm beige runner for your kitchen, you might give this one a try! You can’t beat the price!
Speaking of the kitchen, I am obsessed with these measuring spoons! They are magnetic and so easily stack together, but you can pull them apart for individual use. I also think these glass and wood jars are pretty cute.
And guess what’s back in stock on Amazon! My favorite faux stems that I have in my kitchen! But hurry, they sell out fast.

I’ve just started listening to podcasts (yes, I’m late to the game). I am obsessed with In the Dark Season 2! Captivating.
I am a huge Benedict Cumberbatch fan and loved the series Eric on Netflix. Give it a try! His acting is superb in this show.
