Welcome to Home & Garden Tidbits. This is a collection of everything that caught my eye this past week from renovations to gardens, home decor finds, and more!

Let’s get inspired together!

It’s finally chili and cornbread season here! This is one of my daughter’s favorite meals but it just doesn’t feel right when it’s 80º+ outside! Now that the weather has turned and is starting to feel a bit more like Fall, I’m breaking out my cold-weather recipes like chili, pot roast, and chicken pot pie.

And I finally got around to photographing my Christmas dining table so that I can share it with you in the next couple of weeks. I love how it turned out and hope you like it, too!

Progress continues on the fireplace mantel but it turns out there was an error when measuring and the size is different than I was expecting. I’m not sure how I feel about that yet…

So that was my week. Now let’s move on to what captured my attention this week!

Home Decor Finds

Earlier this week I posted my favorite picks for Christmas decorations, but with a few more days of looking, I found even more fun decor items to share with you!

This year, gingerbread and candy decor is super trendy. There are lots of cute candy ornaments so you can decorate a candy-themed Christmas tree. There’s also tons of gingerbread decor! I just ordered this tree for my kitchen (hope I like it). There are colorful gingerbread houses but also neutral ones like this, or this one which is less expensive. You can even get a super cute outdoor one!

I don’t have specific Christmas dishes, but I’ve bene eyeing these plates that could be used for Chirstmas, but would also work year-round. And okay, this teacup isn’t holiday themed but it’s gorgeous! Look at the detailing!

A tray is a practical accessory whether you’re carrying dishes or using it as a base for a cute coffee table or kitchen display. This gold tray is beautiful. You could pair it with this woven sleigh for a cute vignette.

And for under $10, look at this taper candle holder! Also on sale are these sconce swags and these pomegranates. Although in all honestly, I don’t know what I’d do with those pomegranates but they sure are pretty!

My twinkle tree keeps selling out just as quickly as it’s restocked, so I found this one that also looks pretty. It’s a totally different look but still interesting!
