Wondering where the BEST places are to buy gorgeous French furnishings? Here’s my list of favorite online shops for French décor, both antiques and reproductions.

Let’s talk French home décor! My favorite place to shop for French antiques is actually my local, monthly antique fair called Alameda Point. I always find the most interesting things there at the best prices! {Click HERE for tips on shopping at an antique fair!} But of course, in the pandemic, the antique fair is on hold, so I’ve been doing a lot more online shopping these days. {This post contains affiliate links.  You can read my full disclosure policy HERE}

Today, I’m sharing my favorite online sites for French antiques AND my favorite shops for French decor {not necessarily antiques but French-inspired}.

FRENCH ANTIQUES

The list of French antique vendors below has been curated by me and reflect my favorite type of French antiques {listed in alphabetical order}. They sell items that represent that rustic element that I love so much. They sell items like:

  • antique wicker baskets
  • olive buckets
  • time-worn books
  • ironstone
  • bread boards
  • dough bowls
  • seltzer bottles
  • etc.

Boxwood Avenue

I fist came across Chloe at Boxwood Avenue when I included a photo of her home in a post I wrote previously. Her online shop features mostly neautral, earthy antiques like dough bowls, demijohns, antique ceramics, and zinc items.

Chasing Vintage

Shelli has the best assortment of vintage bread boards in her shop! She also carries gorgeous galvanized buckets, dough bowls, shutters, and more.

Chateau Sonoma

Chateau Sonoma is local for me, so I’ve stopped by several times and am always in awe. During the pandemic, they’ve been holding virtual antique fairs with a variety of vendors!

Edith and Evelyn

Cindy’s Etsy shop is primarily a mix of artwork and ceramics, but there’s always something beautiful. If memory serves, I’ve purchased both an antique ironstone sugar bowl from her, as well as a pair of opera glasses!

Elsie Green

I first met Laurie and her husband at Alameda Point and have written about their beautiful items and gorgeous displays before. I have a few items purchased from their Northern California store and I still love and use them to this day!

Containers full of gorgeous ceramics, kitchenware, furniture, and more arrive at their Northern California store. Every piece is gorgeous and Laurien’s knack for creating amazing displays really highlights their beauty!

House of Harvest

Lindsea has exquisite items in her shop and offers free shipping in the contiguous United States.

Lavender Road Antiques

Karre’s online shop has a wide variety to browse. She’s done a great job of categorizing everything so you can easily search for a particular item or just browse her entire shop!

Roger Appleyard

Based in Atlanta, Georgia, Roger Appleyard carries a huge assortment of antiques! They carry some beautiful architectural elements in addition to décor, so it’s quite fun to browse this shop.

Gorgeous Antiques from Overseas

There are other great vendors on Etsy located in France that sell beautiful antiques, but I left them off this list due to the international shipping costs. You can find them here:
