I’m a back from a whirlwind trip to The Big Easy {my first time there} and I loved every single minute of it! From the bayou, to the French Quarter, the Garden District and let’s not forget about the amazing food. I think I literally ate my way through the city! {I of course went to Cafe du Monde every day….sometimes twice a day!}
I normally share pics with you via Facebook but this trip went by so quickly that I only shared a couple. Here are some of my favorites.

I fell in *love* with the shop Antique de Provence in the French Quarter. I quite literally could have moved into the store and felt right at home!

And let’s not forget about the homes in the Garden District!
Now I’m back and rested and in the holiday spirit and there is so much going on this week that I can’t wait to share with you. First off, this week is the 2015 Holiday Home Tour hosted by Marty at A Stroll Thru Life. You will not believe how gorgeous this Christmas home tours look!
Here’s a look at some of the homes that have already been shared. Click on the links below each photo to see the full tour!
Chelsea from Making Home Base has decorated so beautifully with this traditional red and white combination.

Jeanette from Snazzy Little Things has such a sophisticated space…and I’m in love with that horse!

Marty from A Stroll Thru Life has a great master bedroom. I love the fur throw and malachite pillow!

Doreen from Hymns & Verses has created such a cozy and inviting space in her home and I love the ski motif she’s got going on!

Tomorrow, I’ll be sharing part of my Christmas kitchen with you that includes one of my favorite things of the year! In the meantime, be sure to stop by these other sites for more of their holiday home tours!

So glad you like New Orleans! My daughter went to graduate school in New Orleans and I loved getting to go visit her. I went every chance I could :) Such an amazing city with it’s own unique flavor.
Thanks so much for the shout out and I can’t wait to see your tour.
