Welcome to Home & Garden Tidbits. This is a collection of everything that caught my eye this past week from renovations to gardens, home decor finds, and more!
Let’s get inspired together!
I am just putting the finishing touches on a tutorial for you on how I painted my coffee table. It really is SO easy that I hope it’ll inspire some of you to give a quick coat of paint to a piece you want to update!
And this weekend, maybe even today as you’re reading this, I need to photograph my Christmas tree. I love the decorating part of this job, but I do really dread the photographing. I am completely self-taught when it comes to photography and I get so stressed out ever time I can’t get an image just right! Hopefully, my holiday session will go well and I’ll soon be revealing my tree to you!
I’m also still working on my fireplace makeover plans, but it’s turning out to be more expensive than I’d hoped…
So that was my week. Now let’s move on to what captured my attention this week!
Home Decor Finds
I’m obsessed with this pillow. I think it would look amazing in my living room! The price is a bit of a deterrent, though. But that hasn’t stopped me from looking at it almost ever day this week. What do you think?
I also fell in love with my dream dining chair! I love the separate seat cushion and think this style is unique. And speaking of dining rooms, I was reminded of this compote that I used last Christmas and love. There’s also another version that is less gold and more of a champagne color that is quite beautiful.
Baskets are so useful and equally beautiful. This is one of my favorites, which would be perfect to store throw blankets at the end of a sofa or even firewood near a mantel! It looks vintage but it’s new, so it’s nice and sturdy and even better, it’s now on sale! This one is from the same collection. I have one similar and love it for magazines.
Let’s talk decor! I don’t really know what I’d do with these, but how cute are they!!! Sometimes, a space just needs a bit of whimsy and these would be perfect. The brass color makes them great for Fall, but the mouse would also be cute in Spring.
And these flowers really are elegant. I can see why they’re a best-seller! All the beauty of lillies without the mess. But they are pricey, so here’s a more affordable option. Or you could just make your own using my favorite lily stems!
Lastly, let’s talk about art. I love finding affordable art options! The simplicity of this digital image from Etsy is perfect. But of course, Amazon never disappoints, like with this gold-framed classic or this abstract canvas.
