Welcome to Home & Garden Tidbits. This is a collection of everything that caught my eye this past week from renovations to gardens, home decor finds, and more!
Let’s get inspired together!
I finished up my tutorial for how to paint the look of wood this week. If you missed it, you can find it here.
I also finished my Christmas living room photography! Next week I’ll be sharing a review of my new artificial tree plus a sneak peek of my decorated tree for 2024. Yes, it’s that time of year in blogging-land. Speaking of which, next week I’ll probably start sharing my holiday finds with you in this series!
In other news, my youngest passed her permit test so we’re now on the road! Wish me luck. Lol! As a parent, it’s such a struggle between wanting them to their freedom and being nervous with them out and about.
So that was my week. Now let’s move on to what captured my attention this week!
Home Decor Finds
I found some great new sources for pillows this week. This simple stripe pillow is a great base that could work year-round. And I love this tapestry lumbar pillow that would coordinate well. Buit if you like a bit more of an organic pattern, you might like this pillow.
If you’re looking for lighting, this Amazon chandelier has a lot of style and detail, especially for the price! And don’t overlook Anthropologie when it comes to lighting because they carry very unique styles, like this wall sconce.
I saw this set of 3 framed prints for under $100 and fell in love, but I haven’t figured out where I can put them yet! Lol! This subtle painting also caught my attention this week.
I’ve never seen a brass beauty like this before and might need to change out my guest bathroom to brass just so that I can include it! I suppose the “vase” is for toothbrushes, but I really like the idea of using it for flowers. Have you seen something like this before?
In decor, I saw this bell which says it’s for meditation, but it seems like a great coffee table piece to me. These wooden bowls are also perfect for a coffee table or nightstand and come in a set of 2 from Amazon.
If you entertain, you might like this tray which can double as a serving piece but also a base for a vignette on your counter or coffee table. And these stylish drinking glasses are under $18 for a set of $4!
