In other news, I can officially say I’m obsessed with my new mattress. After years of debate, we decided to get a Sleep Number mattress and I wish we’d done it sooner! Finally a mattress where I don’t get up in the morning with back or hip pain!
I’ve almost settled on a new fireplace surround for my family room. It’s a big decision that I’ve been waiting 20 years for! I’ll be sure to share all the details when that project starts.
So that was my week. Now let’s move on to what captured my attention this week!
Home Decor Finds
It’s official! Christmas decor is everywhere and I’ve rounded up some cute finds for this holiday season!
I purchased this tree from Walmart and already have it set up in the dining room. It has realistic and wispy-looking branches and it’s pre-strung lights twinkle. It’s quite cute!
I also might own this adorable Santa and this sacred heart, both from Amazon. This heart is a great book topper, so I use it year-round. The Santa has just the right amount of vintage-charm to make him interesting.
This frayed velvet ribbon is so elegant. It comes in a variety of colors. I own it in a few different ones and use it for the holidays but also for general gift wrapping. You can also use it for hanging ornaments, like this set of mercury glass ones I found.
Bronze animal heads with glasses are trending right now and this wreath hanger is one of the best I’ve seen…and practical too! And I have a love of simple white villages at Christmas and this comes as an entire set with lights and trees. This is also beautiful with each piece sold separately.
