A curated collection of gorgeous French style mirrors at a variety of prices. These mirrors exude refined elegance and are a great addition to any decorating style.

I have a love affair with mirrors.

No, not looking at myself in them. Never! {Especially post-quarantine! Yikes!}

I just love how decorative mirrors make a space feel bigger and bring in light. To me, a mirror is an important part of a home’s wall decor. And if the mirror is housed in a gorgeous, elegant French country frame, even better!

While I might not live in France, it doesn’t stop me from bringing in some decorative accents to provide a European feel to my home.  In fact, I have FOUR French style wall mirrors in my home that I adore.

Mansard Mirror

I am often asked about my mansard mirror that used to hang above the fireplace mantel in my living room.

While not an antique, I love this French style mirror. It was a lucky find at HomeGoods that I painted to look like wood! {Want to learn how to create this faux wood look? You can read the tutorial HERE}

The shape of these mirrors might look familiar to you. They are based on the mansard roofline in France. The beautiful dormer windows that dot the Parisian skyline have been replicated and produced as mirrors.

Antique Mirrors

I came across this pair of antique mirrors by accident and completely love them above my nightstands!

DIY Mirror

Of course this list wouldn’t be complete without my DIY French style bathroom mirror…

And last but not least….

Trumeau Mirror

Okay, there’s no glamor shot of this one because I’m prepping to paint it. It’s NOT an antique. While my dream is to own an authentic, antique trumeau mirror, this one from HomeGoods caught my eye some years ago.

It’s sort-of a sage green color and ever since purchasing it, I intended to paint it to better fit with my home. I’m thinking greige…..Although maybe I should find a place to hang it first.

I love that the mirror frame is constructed of simple lines with lots of details at the top to create a focal point.
